CHAPTER SUMMARY:
The University of Maryland is a diverse community, which accepts and appreciated the cultural difference and diversity international students bring. Establishing a global community is the ultimate goal of our university. This chapter give you all the information you need to know before you come to the U.S. and after arriving to the university as an international Terp. You will also find ways to meet new friends from your own country speaking your local language or those interested in knowing your culture.
